2. DOWNLOADING & OPTIMIZING:
HOW TO DOWNLOAD A VIDEO

Downloading procedures may vary slightly depending on your computer and the browser you use. Usually after you left click on the box it will take you to a page displaying the video where you can right click on the video and click on a Save or Save As link.
OPTIMIZING YOUR VIDEO
The first thing to do after downloading the video to your desktop is to rename it and make it your own. You may need to add a different Into or Outro in addition. Google isn't consistent on this. You may wish to use a version of one of the popular keywords along with a city or town that you are targeting. (Highly recommended.) Examples for the video on this page:
  • Nursing Home Abuse Dayton, OH
  • Nursing Home Abuse Lawyers Chicago, IL
  • Nursing Home Abuse Case in Atlanta, GA
If you are targeting multiple geographic areas (such as several cities or suburbs) you may be able to rename the video prior to uploading it to YouTube. Google will often ignore duplicates if they are optimized for different geographic areas. Example: Nursing Home Abuse Lawyers Naperville, IL (suburb of Chicago) Why not upload all the videos you can for all the cities you want to target!


3. UPLOADING TO YOUTUBE:

TITLE: Optimizing your video on YouTube requires geo-targeting as well as popular keywords. We recommend you include your primary city name and a major keyword as the TITLE of your video. (Example: "Chicago IL Personal Injury Lawyer"). Using secondary keywords that are less competitive will result in higher search positions. Why not upload lots of targeted videos and you'll get traffic!

DESCRIPTION: You will also create a DESCRIPTION of your video. Start by displaying your phone number and your website address. For a description you might just copy some relevant text from your website, or paste a transcript of the video. You could also mention some other cities you are serving.

TAGS: Finally you add TAGS (which are keywords) to your YouTube video listing. We recommend no more than 6 to 8. These should consist of keywords and city names. (Examples: "Divorce Attorney Chicago IL", "Criminal Defense Lawyer Pittsburgh PA"). It's best to add state initials. These help search engines find your video.

4. ADD AN OUTRO TO YOUR VIDEO

An outro is simply an ending you can add to any video. An outro has your contact information. CLICK HERE FOR: Member Outro Request Form

The important thing to remember is that it is not necessary to add an Outro. Your contact information, and/or a link to it, can almost always be nearby your video presentation, whether it's on your blog, a social page or YouTube. However, many like to have their own contact information placed right at the end of their videos. GOOD NEWS! When you join us as a member of Redi GO Video, we will create a free Outro for you if you. Outro are easy to add. Consider using iMovie if you use a Mac. Or Movavi if you're a Windows User.

5. ADD YOUR VIDEO TO A BLOG

Upload the video directly from your desktop to your blog post. However, adding a way to click back to your YouTube version can be a good way to create an external link which may help your page rank.
